About Us
Crosta was founded in the autumn of 2018, in the heart of Porta Venezia, with a clear idea: to bring bread and pizza back to the center of the day. It is a bakery with an open kitchen, welcoming guests from breakfast through dinner, where research into raw ingredients, sourdough, and stone-milled grains shapes a daily story of precise gestures, flavor, and care.

Giovanni Mineo
Giovanni discovered baking after university, driven by a deep passion for ancient grains and sourdough. He shaped his vision within the world of artisanal bread, gaining significant experience in managing complex productions by combining method, rigor, and social responsibility. His work is guided by constant research into raw ingredients and by an idea of baking as a daily practice—conscious, precise, and contemporary.
